An e-mail alias is a method by which you can specify an e-mail
address on the Internet which is not an actual mailbox. As a result,
any messages sent to the alias address are forwarded to a physical
mailbox of a different name for viewing.
For example, if your mailbox is named "mycompany", by
default, the address is mycompany@netsurf.net (or mycompany@mycompany.com).
The introduction of an alias such as info@mycompany.com, or billing@mycompany.com,
offers others a more meaningful address to which to send messages
without the addition of another physical mailbox. The advantage
to you is that all messages sent to the aliases are routed to
the mycompany mailbox which means that you need only open one
mailbox to retrieve all messages sent to you from every alias
assigned to that specific mailbox.
NetSurf offers unlimited e-mail
aliases to our clients at no extra charge.
